Job Description

The Core AI & Data Platforms Team has been established to create, operate, and run the Enterprise AI, BI & Data that facilitate the time to market for reporting, analytics and data science teams to run experiments, train models and generate insights as well as evolve and run the CoCounsel application and its shared capability of CoCounsel AI Assistant.

About the Role:


In this opportunity as a Data Engineer, you will:

• Ingest data from multiple sources to Data Lake.
• Work on source data analysis and build data pipelines and will document the same.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and business teams starting from business analysts, data architects.
• Be a thought professional, you will contribute to Data Analysis, ELT pipelines, and AWS-based frameworks.
• Participate in communication and liaison with other data management teams embedded across the organization and data consumers in data science and business analytics teams.
• Contribute to improving the customer experience.
• Utilize your experience in the following areas:
• Relational and Non-Relational Databases
• Semi-structured and Unstructured Data
• AWS services (S3, EC2, lambda, IAM, VPC, Load Balancer, Glue, RDS)
• Programming in Python/Spark
• Data Analysis and Data processing technologies
• Snowflake Database
• Informatica

About You:


You're a fit for the role of Data Engineer, if you meet all or most of these criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field with 3-6 years of relevant experience in Data Pipeline Development - ETL/ELT tooling for on-prem and cloud environments (PySpark/Glue/DBT/Informatica)
• Highly proficient in SQL.
• Experience in working on Relational and Non-Relational Databases like Snowflake.
• Experience in AWS services (S3, EC2, lambda, IAM, VPC, Load Balancer, Glue, RDS)
• Knowledge of Semi-structured and Unstructured Data
• Experience in programming languages like Python/Spark
• Basic knowledge of Ingesting from API.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• CICD process in DevOps
• Basic awareness or work experience in Terraform-based deployment
• shell scripting
• Data modeling 3NF and dimensional, including conceptual, logical, and physical.
• Master and Reference data management
