Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale data processing systems.
Build and maintain data pipelines to support data integration and transformation.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and provide necessary data solutions.
Ensure data quality and consistency across different data sources.
Monitor data pipelines and systems to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Design and build data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Document processes and data architectures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
Experience with versions of data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc).
Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (Airflow, Luigi).
Familiarity with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark).
Experience with cloud data solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
