Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale data processing systems.
- Build and maintain data pipelines to support data integration and transformation.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and provide necessary data solutions.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across different data sources.
- Monitor data pipelines and systems to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Design and build data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Document processes and data architectures.
- Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Experience with versions of data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc).
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (Airflow, Luigi).
- Familiarity with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark).
- Experience with cloud data solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
