ROLE PROFILE As a Data Engineer, your primary focus will be designing data integration / migration using big data technologies, developing new features, implementing, testing and managing data workloads with in the standard continuous development and continuous delivery processes in a cloud-based environment. TECH PROFILE/ESSENTIAL SKILLS xe2x80xa2 xe2x80xa2 3-5 years of technical experience. xe2x80xa2 3 years of experience on data migration using ETL tools. xe2x80xa2 Able to translate business requirements into data solutions. xe2x80xa2 Expert level skill on Informatica IICS or Matillion or equivalent ETL tool which covers from extracting the source to building the complex mappings. xe2x80xa2 Proficient in the use or extract of data from Salesforce. xe2x80xa2 Expert level skill on Power BI/Tableau xe2x80xa2 Knowledge of the Salesforce Data modelling is desirable. xe2x80xa2 Proficient level coding knowledge on Python and SQL. xe2x80xa2 Understanding of Salesforce concepts is desirable. xe2x80xa2 Experience with providing technical solutions and supporting documentation. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE xe2x80xa2 Must have Experience on Snowflake Storage and Database. xe2x80xa2 Should have experience of working with Cloud Native based applications using AWS/Azure xe2x80xa2 Understanding of the SDLC and agile delivery methodology. xe2x80xa2 Experience working with databases and data, performing data cleanup, and/or data manipulation and migration to and from Salesforce.com. xe2x80xa2 Ability to work independently and in a team environment. xe2x80xa2 Ability to communicate effectively in English with all levels of staff, both orally and written. xe2x80xa2 Ability to handle own work and multitask to meet tight deadlines without losing sight of priorities under minimum supervision. xe2x80xa2 Highly motivated, self-directed individual with a positive & pro-active demeanor to work. xe2x80xa2 Customer and service focused, with determination to meet their needs and expectations. xe2x80xa2 Be driven and committed to the goals and objectives of the team and organization. xe2x80xa2 Experience with JIRA and Confluence EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS xe2x80xa2 BE/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or STEM degree (Desirable). xe2x80xa2 Solid English reading/writing capability required. xe2x80xa2 Good communication & articulation skills. xe2x80xa2 Curious about new technologies and tools, creative thinking and initiative taking. xe2x80xa2 Agile related certifications preferable. DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES xe2x80xa2 Proficient in data discovery, data migration, data quality analysis, end to end data reconciliations by profiling the source systems using ETL /SQL (IICS /Matillion Preferable). xe2x80xa2 Analyses the data quality of the sources and lists the data quality metrics of the source systems. xe2x80xa2 Proficient in MDM and Customer data solutions. xe2x80xa2 Involved in the Single Customer View and Customer 360 implementations. xe2x80xa2 Proficient in the data migration strategies for large scale programs xe2x80xa2 Develops and improves data governance and business data processes within the Technology and business organizations and understands client requirements, specifying and analyzing these to a sufficient level of detail to ensure transparency of definition and ability for technical teams to translate to a technical solution design. xe2x80xa2 Works with developers, architects, and solution designers to translate sophisticated business requirements and provides feedback on technical solutions proposed. xe2x80xa2 Responsible for building and maintaining a relationship with business collaborators and impacted users. xe2x80xa2 Proactively identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to the process as it relates to assigned projects. xe2x80xa2 Frequently keeps up to date with the latest industry development and technology innovations. xe2x80xa2 Flexible in approach, adapting plans and strategies to help manage risks around ambiguity. xe2x80xa2 Strategic problem solver with strong intuition for business and well-versed in current technological trends and business concepts.
