:We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI data modelling, master data management, data warehousing, and Azure data platform technologies. • Design and develop Power BI data models and interactive reports to visualize and analyze data.
• Create visually compelling dashboards to provide insights into key business metrics.

Master Data Management or Data Warehousing: Preferred

• Implement master data management solutions to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Design and maintain data warehouse structures for efficient storage and retrieval of data.

Azure Data Platform Experience: Preferred

• Utilize Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Delta Lake, Data Bricks, and Azure Synapse for data ingestion, processing, and analytics.
• Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Fabric or Power Platform components.

Additional Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with SQL CDC, fabric notebooks, Python, and Parquet formats is a significant plus.
• Experience in convenience store and market basket analytics is advantageous.
• Knowledge of PDI/Focal Point and retail industry experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with SSRS is beneficial for integrated reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and agile processes, as well as source control systems, is advantageous.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5-8years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Power BI, data modeling, and Azure data platform technologies.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL or T-SQL for data manipulation and optimization.
• Experience with master data management, data warehousing, and analysis services structures and modeling.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Data Factory, Data Lake, Data Bricks, and Azure Synapse.
• Knowledge of SQL CDC, Python, and Parquet formats is advantageous.
