About the Unit

The Global innovation unit leads Yara\'s transformation towards a nature-positive food future, by innovating our offerings based on exceptional R&D and sound customer insights. GI leads the positioning of Yara\'s new solutions and works closely with the 3 regions to ensure successful commercialisation towards all actors of the food value chain (farmers, channel partners, Food companies, etc..) while building solid capabilities & sharing knowledge across the organisation.

Responsibilities

Participate in designing and building data pipelines to collect, manage and store data across different solutions and tools where the data resides for the YAA teams.

Monitor, manage and maintain data pipelines as part of the day-to-day data operations.

Build data mart tables for various use cases by working with the different data consumers like analysts and product teams.

Implement data quality checks by working with analysts.

Help set up integrations via customer data platforms.

Profile

• Bachelor\'s Degree
• At least one data science/analysis project completed from start to finish (personal or professional) with at least 3 years of experience in Software Engineering / Database Administrator or at least 3 years of experience in a data engineer or a similar role (Data Analyst, BI Engineer, Analytics Engineer etc.)
• Have a growth mindset.
• Able to write modular code in one or more programming languages - preferably in Python
• Good understanding of data modeling and able to write SQL queries.
• Strong personal/professional interest in the LSM segments (developing countries, low-income markets, etc.) and agriculture in general.
• Comfortable working with our tools: AWS, Git, Jenkins, Jira, Docker
• Aligned with our principles: agile, customer-centric, lean, service-oriented architecture, self-organization, transparency.
