Your managerial skills will help us manage and lead people, technological and financial resources within the division.It is your hard work and focus that will help in making Pfizer ready to achieve new milestones and help patients across the globe.Role SummaryThe Pharmaceutical Sciences Small Molecules (PSSM) group is part of Pfizers Research & Development (PRD) business unit and is responsible for developing the active pharmaceutical ingredients, formulations & manufacturing processes needed to transform laboratory candidates into potential new medicines. The Data & Digital Innovation team (DDI) is part of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Small Molecule (PSSM) with a mission to transform the way scientific, operational and process information related to the design, development and clinical manufacturing of products is collected, stored, accessed, reported, and analyzed through innovative solutions that leverage state of the art digital technologies.PSSMs digital transformation journey will require a diverse portfolio of data & digital skills and technologies. In addition, multiple projects will need to be executed simultaneously across all the groups in PSSM to result in a multiplier impact. This role will establish and lead the DDI Center of Excellence (CoE) in Chennai, India with a remit to serve as a delivery hub for all DDI customer teams. The role will play a critical role in managing the ongoing projects, vendors, technologies, financial health, training needs, and effective communication of key initiatives and accomplishments of the team.How You Will Achieve It

• Establish and manage relationships with key vendors and partners.
• Collect, organize, and report total cost of ownership (including hardware, software, and support) for systems.
• Identify key business objectives and provide solution recommendations while performing business proves and management consulting analysis.
• Manage scope of projects from inception to closure. Define, develop and manage implementation schedules and project budgets.
• Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kickoff and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks.
• Ensure project consultants are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial dashboards, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with budgets and mitigate financial risks.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Run regular financial review meetings with the DDI LT to understand and monitor the New Investments and Sustain budgets.
• Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies to enhance the groups brand and share accomplishments.
• Create and distribute compelling content across various channels, including website, social media, press releases, and internal communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.

QualificationsMust-Have

• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Science or similar field of study with 10+ years of related pharmaceutical systems experience OR
• Masters degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Science or similar field of study with 5+ years of related pharmaceutical systems experience Proven experience in finance management, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Strong awareness / experience with programming languages, data and digital technologies and infrastructure like cloud platforms.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Familiarity with communication strategies and tools.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical research and development processes
• Experience with managing teams (both direct reports and matrix)
