Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection:

• Collect data from various sources, including surveys, interviews, field visits, and online research.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness during the collection process.

2. Survey Administration:

• Conduct surveys using questionnaires, forms, or digital tools.
• Engage with respondents professionally and courteously to gather required information.

3. Field Work:

• Visit specified locations to collect data as required by the project.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while conducting fieldwork.

4. Data Verification:

• Cross-check and verify collected data to ensure its reliability and accuracy.
• Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in the data.

5. Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records of data collection activities, including dates, locations, and methodologies used.

6. Collaboration:

• Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth data collection processes.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on data collection strategies and improvements.

7. Adherence to Guidelines:

• Follow established protocols and guidelines for data collection to maintain data integrity.
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy of collected data, adhering to ethical standards and regulations.

8. Troubleshooting:

• Address any issues or challenges encountered during data collection and report them to the supervisor.
• Adapt to changing project requirements and provide solutions for efficient data collection.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data collection and entry.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with respondents and team members effectively.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage and document data collection activities systematically.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and data entry software.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with respondents and work collaboratively with team members.
• Time Management: Efficient time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Minimum of 12th grade (high school) completion.
• Experience: Previous experience in data collection, survey administration, or related fields is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Languages: Proficiency in English(Basic), Hindi and, Gujarati for effective communication with respondents.
