Position Overview



As a Data Cleanroom Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of data within Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), Google Ads Data Hub (ADH), and other data cleanroom environments. Leveraging your expertise in data governance, privacy, and analytics, you will play a crucial role in maintaining data quality standards, protecting sensitive information, and enabling data-driven decision-making processes.


Responsibilities


Implementation of Data Clean Room:


• Lead the implementation of data cleanroom solutions including setup and configuration.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cleanroom technologies and systems.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for data isolation, anonymization, and access controls.


Data Governance and Compliance:


• Develop and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures specific to AMC and ADH.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
• Stay up to date with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA to ensure cleanroom operations comply with legal requirements and industry best practices.


Data Quality Assurance:


• Establish and maintain data quality standards and validation processes for AMC and ADH datasets.
• Implement data profiling techniques to optimize data quality and usability.
• Implement data profiling techniques, data cleansing routines, and data enrichment strategies to optimize data quality and usability.


Security Management:


• Implement robust security controls and access management policies tailored to AMC and ADH environments.
• Monitor for security incidents and coordinate incident response activities specific to cleanroom data.
• Collaborate with IT security teams to conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential security risks.


Data Analytics Support:


• Provide technical support, guidance, and expertise to data analysts, data scientists, and business intelligence teams utilizing cleanroom data for analytics, reporting, and insights generation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements, develop data models, and optimize analytics workflows within cleanroom environments to facilitate data-driven decision-making processes.
• Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval infrastructure to support scalable analytics solutions and advanced data analytics techniques.


Documentation and Training:


• Maintain documentation of cleanroom procedures and compliance.
• Conduct training sessions on data privacy and security best practices.


Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or data security roles; preferably in a cloud-based environment.
• Experience of working with Amazon Marketing Cloud and Google Ads Data Hub.
• In-depth knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), data protection principles, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data environments, identify risks, and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Professional certifications in data governance, data security, or related areas (e.g., CIPP, CISSP, CDPSE) are a plus.

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee's/applicant's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
