We are seeking a knowledgeable and innovative Snowflake Data Architect to join our dynamic team at LUMIQ. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud solutions to meet the specific needs of our BFSI clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assess the technological landscape, and create cloud architecture that aligns with our business objectives and client needs.

Responsibilities:


Design and Develop Data Architecture:

• 
  Develop, construct, test, and maintain large-scale processing architectures on Snowflake.
• 
  Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options.
• 
  Ensure the alignment of data architecture with business goals and objectives.

Data Modeling and Design:

• 
  Design and implement logical and physical data models, and data flowcharts.
• 
  Optimize and update data architectures to support new and existing data sources, business processes, and reporting requirements.
• 
  Define and enforce data standards, ensuring data quality and consistency.

Data Governance and Security:

• 
  Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure data integrity, quality, and security.
• 
  Collaborate with information security teams to safeguard sensitive data in compliance with BFSI regulations.
• 
  Monitor compliance with data-related policies, standards, roles, and responsibilities.

Technology Evaluation and Adoption:

• 
  Assess and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance data capabilities.
• 
  Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in data architecture and analytics.
• 
  Drive the adoption of innovative technologies and best practices.

Collaboration and Communication:

• 
  Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions.
• 
  Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• 
  Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring that data architecture aligns with and meets business objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 
  Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 
  Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data management.
• 
  Extensive experience with Snowflake along with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• 
  Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling tools, and data warehousing concepts.
• 
  Familiarity with BFSI industry standards, compliance, and data security requirements.
• 
  Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

• 
  Certifications in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, or related fields.
• 
  Experience with data visualization tools and BI platforms.
• 
  Knowledge of machine learning, AI, and predictive modeling.
