OVERVIEW :
The mission of the Enterprise Data & Analytics team is to add value to our customers across all internal functions by using data and analytic techniques delivering actionable insights and recommendations around effectiveness and efficiency. We are a center of excellence for data and analytical insight, working in concert with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to turn numbers into stories and decisions.
Our team has built expertise in four functional areas that interact daily :
• Data Architecture: Flow and governance of enterprise (x-functional) data
• Data Products: Data movement, Data Lake / DW, Reporting & Visualization (BI
• Business Analysis: Insights and recommendation supporting various projects and functions, and enabling insights to be used by our functional leaders
• Data Science: Predictive models powering key desired outcomes - customer retention, learner engagement, quality of products and platforms, etc
The role is on the Business Analysis team and will interact with the rest of the Enterprise Data and Analytics group daily while establishing expertise with our business partners.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS :
• Independently work with partner teams to drive business decisions by analyzing available market, customer, and user data; delivering recommendations for how to leverage insights from data; delivering regular performance reports; providing other valuable quantitative research and information to customers all the way to Executive Team
• Partner with business team to develop KPIs that relate to success of our marketing efforts - CAC, efficiency, user engagement, etc. Help drive adoption of those KPIs to arrive at the appropriate actionable business recommendations through independently creating insightful presentation to Director and VP level executives
• Support our C-suite with dashboards and ad hoc analysis to drive deeper insights into the organization and identify levers of financial and operational improvements
• Autonomously uncover deep insights about learner behaviors and customer engagement and collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing departments to increase the effectiveness of our products by putting these insights into action
• Work closely with our Data Science team on developing of key models to help drive automated insights - predictive models that help us with identifying customer retention drivers, marketing conversion successes, and sales operations efficiencies
? SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field - engineering, finance, data science, statistics, economics, or other quantitative.
• 3-7 years of analytical or data science experience or 2-5 years plus masters in relevant field .
• Ability to independently plan and iterate on assignments to arrive at appropriate deliverables (dashboard, analysis, recommendation set, etc) to address partner business needs.
• Ability to establish subject matter expertise in an assigned business area in order to provide key actionable recommendations to business partners.
• Analytical skills: outstanding analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, experience in developing deep analytical insights about users of digital products and services.
• Technical skills: SQL, ETLs, Tableau (or other BI tools), R, Python.
• Prior marketing or sales analytics experience would be a plus: Salesforce, AdWords, Lead Gen, Email, etc.
• Self-starter with sense of urgency to drive and implement insights.

Pay: ?800,000.00 - ?1,200,000.00 per year
