• The role holder will support the DAO (Data Analytics Office ) in maintaining and governing data which have been setup for Data Quality/Remediation process within DAO (Data Analytics Office )to support across Finance. Primary responsibilities will include
• Conduct initial root cause analysis investigation into prevailing data quality issues.
• Responsible for producing data analysis within the agreed framework and complete Impact Assessment Analysis.
• Collaborate closely with internal team members, process owners and Global Business /Global Functions stakeholders to successfully deliver the respective data quality issues and remediation across the functions.
• Supporting the Data Quality Lead, DAO (Data Analytics Office) Group Functions to drive working group deliverable outcomes, hosting data forums and meetings across teams and functions. This includes documenting gathered information, minutes of meeting, and at times ownership of action / tasks.
• End to end management of the data quality management process
• Good in data analysis, lead the review and validation of data against expected quality criteria, logging, investigating, escalating and resolving data quality issues.
• Support and guide colleagues through knowledge sharing and coaching interventions and facilitating transparent communication including with stakeholders

Requirements

• Postgraduate/Graduate with 10-12 years of experience Finance Professional who has dealt with Liquidity Reporting, Financial Reporting and/or Regulatory reporting obligations and regulations in the Banking industry/ Finance environment.
• Strong relevant work experience involving data part of reporting, Finance system support, Change Delivery on any of this area I.e., Liquidity, IRRBB, RWA, FINREP as well as knowledge of HSBC data landscape is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of banking operations and processes, preferably in Risk, Compliance and Finance.
• Exposure to Accounting, Reporting, Financial Systems Support, Project Management any of the area is required.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills. Ability to navigate within the organization.
• Knowledge of working in GCP / SDI, FOTC, Bigdata-Pentaho, FTP is an advantage.
• Understanding Finance systems like FotC, FTP, complex data flows, the regulatory (Liquidity, RWA) Reporting, business, and accounting requirements
• Proficient or expert level skills in MS Excel and Powerpoint.
• Experience with using project/collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence.
• Technical skills in analytical languages such as Python, R, SQL, SAS will be advantageous.
