Job Overviewo Data Analyst (MIS Excel Specialist) will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and gather and interpret data from various sources. His/her responsibilities include the deep analysis of data and then determining the best way to represent it visually with desired data insightso He/she will also ensure quality assurance and process documentation and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Another important duty of a data analyst is to assess and determine the success of specific initiatives. He/she should be extremely detail-oriented and should be able to explain large amounts of information in a simple, organized manner.He/she should have.Responsibilities and DutiesWork independently after being given direction by senior stakeholdersAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsUse Excel Macros, Excel Formulas & functions, Pivot tables and other means to analyses, segment, identify trends and bring meaningful insights in the form of Tables, Charts, Correlation,Understand, interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports as requested by stakeholdersResponding to data-related queries and keeping track of theseIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsWork with management to prioritize business and information needsProducing reports and charts communicating trends within dataPresenting information generated from data to managers and key stakeholders.EducationalBachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, orrelated field
CertificationStatistical data analysis techniques for predictive analytics or similarData Analysis with ExcelExcel VBA Macro Training
Work ExperienceAt least 6 years of relevant experience is preferredStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, understand, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyStrong math skills and business acumenProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)An understanding of the ethics of gathering and working with data
