Our Ideal Candidate This is an Individual Contributor Role Experience in Java / JEE, Python, Microservices (event sourcing, eventing), AWS Services, Container Orchestration Services (Kubernetes, DC / OS,etc), JS framework. Hands-on in architecture, design and implementation, automation of manual processes and tools development for large scale system. Strong experience in decision making and stakeholder management w.r.t Design / Technology Choices and Platform standards Ability to connect business problems / requirements and with available data and provide / suggest best design and solution. Proven experience building and deploying scalable solutions using BI Tool, data lakes, cloud platforms, APIs, AWS / Azure. Architect level knowledge and experience building and deploying systems leveraging a variety of database technologies. Experience in providing direction and high level architectural blueprints for platforms development Understanding of traditional DW / BI components (ETL, Staging, DW, ODS, Data Marts, BI Tools). Hands on with handling large database, AWS RDS, Hadoop / Cassandra. Key-Value Stores, etc. Hands-on coding expertise with one of the language / framework - Java / Python / C++ / SQL Hands on RESTful Services, Service discovery, distributed queuing, scaling and monitoring. Work closely with IT team to understand existing guidelines, policies and IT infrastructure. Understanding of the hardware and networking architecture behind large scale systems. Strong designing knowledge of APIs, Microservices and event driven architecture. Good knowledge and experience in various BI tools. Role Specific Technical Competencies Strong understanding & working experience of relational database, SQL / SQL Server, MySQL, REST and SOAP web services, HTML and JSON SQL, Excel, Java, HTML, Python, VB.Net, ASP.Net, AWS, AZURE, Hadoop, Hive, Casandra, VBA, Django, Flask Good web designing skills using HTML, React.JS, Python Flask, CSS, etc. Preferred Knowledge of Angular JS Libraries, Angular Redux (ngrx) Expertise with atleast 2 (Tabelau, SSRS, Microstrategy) Experienced with Git based version control About Standard Chartered We\'re an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
