What is D2cecommerce?

D2C Ecommerce is India's first multi-D2C brand online platform that sells its own homegrown brands across multiple home and lifestyle categories, including - apparel, cosmetics, beauty, jewellery, accessories, fitness, sports, shoes, bags, books, kitchen, food, auto accessories, electronics, kids and travel packages. Along with selling these products on its own portal, D2CEcommerce also has these items listed on leading e-commerce sites.

Where would you fit in?

We are looking for an experienced Business Head to manage the company's supply of products and services. Business Head responsibilities include strategizing to find cost effective deals and suppliers. The Business Head's duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.

What are we looking for in the candidate?

- At least 8+ years of prior experience in sourcing and procurement.

- Prior leadership experience.

- Exposure to e-commerce or other new-age supply chains. This is a strong plus.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Premium B-school education will be an add-on

What would be your responsibilities?

- Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies.

- Launching competative new products in multiple categories constantly

- Owning the daily/monthly sales+revenue of business

- Exploring & launching new markets

- Target Fulfilment of Revenue Targets

- Built a very strong network of vendors on the ground to deliver in line with cost, quality, and speed requirements.

- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms

- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries

- Examine and test existing contracts

- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness

- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company

- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
