Job Description

Responsibilities:

Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of sales executives, setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
Develop and implement long-term logistics strategies aligned with overall business objectives, optimizing resource allocation and improving operational efficiency.
Oversee and manage the logistics budget, controlling expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure seamless operations, competitive pricing, and reliable service.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and address potential challenges.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics activities, providing regular reports and insights to management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to logistics and transportation.
Proactively identify and resolve logistics-related issues, minimizing disruptions and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, developing contingency plans to address unforeseen circumstances.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing sales teams, strategy development, and achieving sales targets within a logistics or supply chain environment.
Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management principles.
