Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support to clients, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows) and applications.
Perform hardware repairs and replacements on laptops and desktops, including but not limited to hard drives, memory, and motherboards.
Troubleshoot networking issues, including connectivity problems and basic network configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Install and configure printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including diagnoses, solutions, and time spent on each task.
Ensure timely and effective communication with clients regarding the status of their issues.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Follow established procedures and protocols for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Travel to client locations within the Ambattur Estate area.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of Laptop/Desktop Installation & Repair - a must!
Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is a plus.
A+ Certification or equivalent experience is desirable.
