The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing data requirements based on leading cyber frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, MITRE, CIS Benchmark etc.), developing AI based data acquisition mechanisms, analyzing complex datasets to identify patterns, and developing data processing routines. This role combines cybersecurity knowledge with data science expertise to enhance cyber metrics and risk quantification through predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Develop a Data acquisition engine to acquire data from various cyber, organizational, and external data sources. Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and develop ML based data processing models resulting in a pre-defined feature set. Develop data quality and data validation engine. Develop mapping between different cyber industry frameworks, develop leading Key Risk Indicators, Key Performance Indicators and identify data requirements for automated metrics generation. Develop and implement advanced analytics models for the detection of cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Develop a quantification model for calculation of cyber risk. Design and refine algorithms to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data processing and threat detection systems. Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, incorporating this knowledge into analytics models. Identify methods to communicate risk drivers and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear, concise reports and presentations. Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines for real-time threat analysis. Participate in the evaluation and selection of cybersecurity tools and technologies. Requirements : Required Qualifications: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Security, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related role, with a focus on cybersecurity applications. Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages, with experience in data manipulation and analysis libraries. Experience with building automated data acquisition pipelines using REST API. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Understanding of cyber threats, attack vectors, and vulnerability management. Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Experience in developing and deploying applications in a cloud environment (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) using cloud native technologies Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a non-technical audience. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in data science, cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM), or both. Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipeline systems such as Git. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in building LLMs Knowledge of network protocols and experience with network analytics.
