The SOC Senior Engineer will be instrumental in enhancing our organization\'s security posture through advanced monitoring, incident response, and cybersecurity expertise. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and a deep understanding of security operations, incident response, and threat hunting.Responsibilities:

• SOC Operations:

• Lead day-to-day operations within the Security Operations Center, ensuring effective monitoring and response to security incidents.
• Implement and manage security information and event management (SIEM) tools to detect and respond to threats.
• Incident Response:

• Respond promptly to security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and provide detailed reports on findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute incident response plans.
• Threat Detection and Analysis:

• Continuously monitor and analyze security alerts, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Utilize advanced threat intelligence to proactively identify emerging risks.
• Technical Expertise:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
• Collaboration and Leadership:

• Collaborate with SOC leadership to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior SOC engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Master\'s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in a senior engineer role within a SOC environment, with a minimum of 4 years in cybersecurity.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SIEM solutions and incident response tools.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or CEH are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
