: Conduct Cyber Risk Understand common cyber threats and vulnerabilities Understand common cybersecurity and privacy issues that stem from connections with internal and external customers and partner organizations Understand Business continuity and disaster recovery planning methodologies Understand risk management methodologies and procedures Understand common system and application security threats and vulnerabilities Understand computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies Understand controls related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of data Understand cloud computing concepts and applications Understand cyber defense and vulnerability assessment Understand data backup and recovery systems Understand network access, identity, authorization, and access management tools and procedures Understand applications of major network hardware components, including routers, switches, bridges, servers, and transmission media Understand Security system authentication, authorization, and access control methods Knowledge of relevant regulations, statutes, and laws regarding information security, including the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) familiarity with the NIST Risk Management Framework security and risk assessment strategies and tools for large scale mission systems and cybersecurity engineering, support, analysis, documentation, and/or validation skills and knowledge. Understand Underwriting Insights for Risk Report Creation Prepare a risk report , which can become the primary basis of underwriting the cyber risk.
