If youre looking for a challenge and meaningful role, youre in the right place.About You and the RoleAs a Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist, you will manage the companys regional efforts to ensure regulatory compliance for all aspects of importing and exporting. Your role is crucial in ensuring trade regulatory compliance, minimizing business disruptions, and supporting overall functional goals and initiatives.Responsibilities

• Oversee parts of the import and/or export operations.
• Handle customs clearances.
• Coordinate and manage KPIs with carriers, freight forwarders, transporters, CFS, and survey agencies.
• Contribute to the Customs & Trade Compliance framework.
• Understand and apply the legal framework of customs and allied regulations, import and export policies, and compliances.
• Improve, implement, and update all work processes.
• Monitor regulatory/policy changes and implement them with minimal/no business disruptions while ensuring 100% compliance.

Qualifications

• University Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or Economics.
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably in Supply Chain operations, improvement, or analytics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Supply Chain data analytics and automation.
• Additional certifications in International Trade.
• Knowledge of SAP (SDMM) and GTS (Global Trade Services).
• Prior experience interfacing with government organizations.
• Competencies in interpersonal effectiveness, understanding customer needs, teamwork, initiative, problem-solving, and technical proficiency in computer applications and data analytics.
• Good commercial acumen to drive business decisions regarding material flows and optimal utilization of government benefits.
• Strong financial acumen to identify cost-saving opportunities and improvement ideas.
