Apkamart is a leading e-commerce company specializing in unique home decor and handicraft products. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Executive to join our team. As a Customer Service Executive, you will be responsible for handling all types of sales and service calls, assisting walk-in customers, and responding to inquiries via WhatsApp and other social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Handle inbound and outbound sales and service calls in a professional and efficient manner.
• Assist walk-in customers by providing product information, answering queries, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints via WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information about products, prices, promotions, and delivery services.
• Process orders, track shipments, and handle returns or exchanges as necessary.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge to address customer inquiries effectively.
• Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as the warehouse and logistics teams, to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
• Document customer interactions and feedback to improve overall customer experience and identify trends or areas for improvement.
Requirements:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of regional languages would be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Proficiency in using computers, including basic knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with social media platforms.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and data entry.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per the company's roster.
• A customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
