Key responsibilities of a Sales Coordinator:
1. Assist the sales team in generating leads, following up on inquiries, and closing sales deals.
2. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products or services to clients.
3. Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and potential clients.
4. Respond to client inquiries and provide accurate information about travel packages, services, and pricing.
5. Address any concerns or issues raised by clients in a professional and timely manner.
6. Maintain and update sales databases, including client information, sales records, and contracts.
7. Prepare sales reports and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
8. Serve as a liaison between the sales team and other departments within the organization.
9. Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales activities.
10. Collaborate with the sales team to brainstorm ideas, share best practices, and support each other in achieving sales targets.
11. Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
2. Previous experience in sales coordination, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
3. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sales-related documentation.
