Job Description

As a Customer Care officer specializing in scans and laboratory services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for patients undergoing diagnostic procedures. Your primary responsibility will be to assist and guide patients throughout their journey, from appointment scheduling to post-test inquiries. You will also collaborate closely with medical staff to facilitate efficient service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assistance:
• Act as the primary point of contact for patients scheduling scans and laboratory tests.
• Provide detailed information about different diagnostic procedures, including preparation instructions and expected timelines.
• Assist patients in booking appointments based on their preferences and medical requirements.
• Appointment Management:
• Coordinate scheduling of scans and laboratory tests to optimize capacity and meet patient needs.
• Reschedule appointments as necessary, ensuring minimal disruption to patient schedules.
• Customer Support:
• Address patient queries and concerns promptly and courteously, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries related to scans and laboratory services.
• Provide accurate information on test results retrieval and other relevant services.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Liaise with laboratory technicians, radiologists, and other medical professionals to prioritize urgent cases and ensure timely reporting.
• Communicate effectively with patients to convey test results and instructions from medical staff.
• Quality Assurance:
• Monitor service quality and patient feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Document patient interactions and feedback for continuous service enhancement.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for appointment scheduling and data entry.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic procedures is advantageous.
• Empathetic and compassionate demeanor when dealing with patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
