The Customer Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, processing purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service : Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Address customer inquiries, provide information about products/services, and offer solutions to their needs.
• Product Knowledge : Stay informed about the company's products and services to assist customers effectively. Help customers make informed purchasing decisions by providing product recommendations and details.
• Sales Support : Assist customers with product selection, upsell or cross-sell where appropriate, and encourage sales promotions or offers.
• Order Processing : Handle transactions at the point of sale (POS), process payments, and issue receipts. Ensure the accuracy of all transactions.
• Customer Inquiries : Respond to customer emails, phone calls, or online inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
• Returns & Exchanges : Assist customers with returns, exchanges, and product warranty claims in compliance with company policies.
• Store Maintenance : Keep the customer area tidy and well-organized. Restock shelves, maintain displays, and ensure products are in good condition.
• Customer Feedback : Gather customer feedback and pass on valuable insights to management to help improve service quality and the customer experience.
• Team Collaboration : Work effectively with colleagues and supervisors to meet store goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Promotions & Events : Help in organizing and promoting in-store events, discounts, or sales activities.
Qualifications:
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification in customer service or retail is a plus).
• Experience : Previous experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, is preferred but not always required.
• Skills :
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating prices.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic office software.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with others.
• Customer-focused attitude with a passion for providing excellent service.

Pay: ?8,086.00 - ?14,000.00 per month
