Customer Advocacy Switching Expert

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do: Job Family Definition: The job family spans across multiple engineering disciplines. Work consists of designing, developing, analysing, troubleshooting and debugging systems, software and solutions for research and/or research development of product, services, and solutions for HPE\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio. Requires a broad knowledge and application of engineering disciplines, methodologies and tools. Management Level Definition: Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organisation to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Responsibilities:

• Provide pre and post sales Design and consulting services to Aruba- HPE teams, customers and partners for various technologies and solutions.
• Provide Complete services lifecycle for the customers including Plan, Design, Implementation, Migration and Optimisation
• Plan: Creating customer requirement document and business outcome plan
• Design: Creating high level and low-level design documents based on customer requirements
• Implementation: Preparing the installation plan includes Network implementation plan and Network ready for use plan
• Migration: Preparing migration including Method of Procedure and migration validation checks
• Optimisation: Working on continuous improvement of network operations, uptime and security conformance.
• Ability to multitask and work independently when required, with little supervision or direction
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface to senior levels of the customer organisation
• Formulate action plans (technical and operational) for analysing and resolving reported issues.
• Simulate customer designs in lab.
• Participate in solution development and publications for knowledge base.
• Work effectively in a team environment including Aruba and Customer colleagues; QA, engineers, and field organisations.
• Required to travel to customer sites for consulting, training purposes, business reviews.
• Provide Quarterly Customer Review meetings, providing technical status and recommendations

What you need to bring: Education and Experience Required:

• Minimum 8-12 years experience in customer-facing Network design / implementation and consulting experience required.
• Bachelor degree in Computers, EEE or ECE

Knowledge and Skills:

• Technical and consulting experience supporting L2-L3 networking products and solutions
• Advanced expertise in network Routing & Switching
• Exposure to Aruba products and Wireless Technology
• Security knowledge would be an added advantage
• Industry level certifications like CCIE, JNCIE
• Protocols / technologies including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MPLS, VPN
• Experience in planning, designing & implementing Service provider or large enterprise class networks
• Knowledge and working experience on Python will be a plus
• Proficient in new trends like Network Function Virtualisation [NFV] and various SDN and SD-WAN technologies will be a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
