Hybrid Working

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We\xe2\x80\x99re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction:

The Prime Equity Finance architecture is undergoing a major tech stack modernization and is looking for top talent to work closely with traders on revenue generating programs.
The primary objectives of this role is building, improving, and supporting Equity Finance trading services in fit-for-purpose technologies.
The purpose of the role is to provide depth of talent in the business center to provide subject matter expertise, level 3 support and ability to work closely with business teams as well as peer groups. The candidate will have the ability to work dynamically to work with global teams and meet the needs to a global customer base.

What will you be doing?

• Responsibilities will include on-going development and maintenance of the existing platform, developing an understanding of the business and contributing to the enhancement of the platform. A successful candidate will be able to perform holistic development in a global agile team. The candidate will be required to fulfil all mandatory training requirements, remain current on all regulations and compliance rules and administrative functions
• The Candidate will promote and support best practices and proactively takes measures to ensure direct reports are well supported and challenged, ensure each team member is contributing at or above their individual assigned roles and that they have the necessary knowledge and tools.
• Working with global Lead to understand the bi-weekly metrics demonstrating delivery levels and productivity output and seeks out areas of process improvement.

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Java J2EE ( EJB, JPA, Struts), Weblogic/Jboss
• Spring Framework, JBoss Drools, Quartz Scheduler, SQL (MS-SQL strongly preferred)
• Messaging JMS/EMS/MQ / XML
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript / Ext-JS / Angular JS, TreeGrid
• Agile and Lean methodologies, Design Patterns

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Financial services business knowledge
• Experience in enterprise scale environment greatly preferred, especially using agile methodologies
• Investment Banking Experience is desired.
