**Role Overview:**As the Academics Head at Kidzonia International Preschools, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our educational programs. You will lead a team of curriculum developers and designers, overseeing all aspects of curriculum design, planning, implementation, and assessment. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative teaching strategies, creating engaging learning materials, conducting teacher training sessions, and conducting academic audits to maintain high standards of education.**Key Responsibilities:**1. **Curriculum Development:**- Lead the development of a comprehensive and age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with Kidzonia\'s educational philosophy and objectives.- Collaborate with curriculum developers and designers to create engaging learning experiences that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.2. **Annual Planning:**- Develop annual academic calendars, outlining key themes, topics, and learning objectives for each term or semester.- Ensure that the curriculum is sequenced logically, building upon previously acquired knowledge and skills.3. **Books Design:**- Oversee the design and development of teaching materials, including textbooks, workbooks, and supplementary resources.- Ensure that all materials are visually appealing, culturally sensitive, and pedagogically sound.4. **Lesson Planning:**- Work closely with teachers to develop detailed lesson plans that incorporate a variety of instructional strategies and activities.- Provide guidance and support to ensure that lessons are differentiated to meet the needs of diverse learners.5. **Training Material Development:**- Develop training modules and materials for teacher professional development sessions.- Conduct workshops and seminars to enhance teachers\' pedagogical knowledge and skills.6. **Implementation and Assessment:**- Oversee the implementation of the curriculum in classrooms, monitoring its effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary.- Develop assessment tools and strategies to evaluate student progress and learning outcomes.7. **Teacher Trainings:**- Organize regular training sessions for teachers, focusing on curriculum implementation, classroom management, and instructional techniques.- Provide ongoing support and mentoring to help teachers continuously improve their practice.8. **Academic Audits:**- Conduct regular academic audits to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the educational programs.- Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any deficiencies.**About Kidzonia International Preschools:**Kidzonia International Preschools are renowned for providing holistic early childhood education, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence among young learners.
