DESCRIPTIONKey Responsibilities:

• Apply engineering and/or scientific skills to technical processes with support from experienced team members.

• Mitigate potential product failure modes to improve product reliability.
• Lead processes to record, prioritize, and resolve product failures.

• Plan and manage critical reliability activities during new product development.
• Analyze failure data to assess reliability targets and identify emerging issues.
• Develop and analyze test plans to improve product reliability.

RESPONSIBILITIESQualifications:

• Master of Science, Bachelor of Science, or equivalent technical degree required.
• M. Tech in Reliability Engineering with 2-3 years of relevant experience or B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 4-7 years of relevant experience.

QUALIFICATIONSExperience:

• Knowledge of engine and Genset parts, functions, and failure modes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with Excel programming (VBA) and Power Pivot is desirable.
• Familiarity with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, Weibull++, Winsmith, JMP, R-Programming) is preferable.
• Knowledge of engine performance measurement is desired.
• Awareness of warranty data analysis and life data analysis is preferable.
• Experience in service and quality functions is desirable.
• Ability to handle big data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
