We are seeking dynamic and experienced Culinary Instructors (Cooking Trainers) to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in culinary arts and a passion for training and development. This role will involve designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to ensure our culinary students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to succeed in the culinary industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive culinary training programs, covering a wide range of topics such as knife skills, food safety, baking, pastry, and various cuisines.
• Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions, both in-person and virtually, using a variety of instructional methods (e.g., demonstrations, hands-on practice, role-playing, case studies).
• Performance Evaluation: Assess student performance through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Offer individual coaching and mentoring to support the development of culinary students and their career aspirations.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in using culinary software, such as recipe management or menu planning tools, to train students on industry-standard practices.
• Industry Connections: Maintain strong relationships with industry professionals to provide students with networking opportunities and insights into career paths.
• Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with culinary students, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and collaboration.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or postgraduate degree in culinary arts or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the culinary industry, with a focus on training and education.
• Proven track record of designing, delivering, and evaluating effective training programs.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for training and development, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
• Certification in training and development (e.g., Certified Trainer, Instructional Designer).
• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to food safety and sanitation.
