Job Title: CT Technician Experience: 2+ Years : A CT Technician with 2+ years of experience in a diagnostic center is a medical imaging professional responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) scanners to obtain high-quality images of a patient\'s internal anatomy. This role requires technical expertise in CT scanning, patient care, and adherence to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: CT Scanning: Operate CT scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients. Ensure the equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for accurate results. Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining the procedure, addressing their questions or concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety. Positioning: Position patients correctly on the CT table and immobilize them as necessary to obtain clear images. Radiation Safety: Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and oneself. Use lead shielding when required. Image Quality: Adjust CT scanner settings to obtain high-quality images while minimizing radiation dose. Monitor image quality and make adjustments as needed. Contrast Administration: Administer contrast agents to patients, as directed by the radiologist, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions. Data Management: Ensure accurate patient information and scan data are entered into the computer system for proper image storage and retrieval. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on CT scanners to ensure they are operating correctly. Report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel. Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures and protocols in accordance with regulatory guidelines and facility policies. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any unusual occurrences. Collaboration: Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review images, discuss findings, and ensure appropriate patient care. Continuing Education: Stay updated on advances in CT technology and imaging techniques through ongoing education and training. Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate\'s degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • State licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist (if required in your region).
  • 2+ years of experience as a CT Technician.
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting CT scanners.
  • Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and techniques.
  • Knowledge of contrast administration and patient care during CT scans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in image acquisition and documentation.
  • Commitment to patient safety and radiation protection.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, if required by the diagnostic center.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: 25,000.00 - 30,000.00 per month Schedule:
