Job Description

Key Responsibilities of an MRI Technician:

Operating the MRI equipment:

This includes adjusting settings, positioning the patient, and acquiring images under the direction of physicians or radiologists.

Patient preparation and care:

This includes explaining the procedure, taking patient history, administering contrast dye (if needed), and monitoring the patient's well-being during the scan.

Maintaining equipment:

This includes cleaning, disinfecting, and ensuring proper calibration and operation of the MRI machine and related equipment.

Maintaining patient records:

This includes documenting patient information, scan parameters, and image data.

Working with physicians and other healthcare professionals:

This includes collaborating to determine the best imaging techniques, interpreting images, and addressing any patient concerns.

Ensuring patient safety:

This involves identifying contraindications for MRI, monitoring patient safety during the scan, and addressing any potential issues.

Pay: ?8,591.88 - ?36,341.58 per month
