Cssd Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CSSD Technician to join our manufacturing company. The CSSD Technician is responsible for ensuring that all medical devices and equipment are properly sterilized, maintained, and prepared for use in surgical procedures.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and disinfectors.
• Follow established protocols for decontamination, sterilization, and storage of surgical instruments and medical devices.
• Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned and inspected for damage.
• Assemble and pack surgical instrument trays and sets according to procedure requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor inventory levels of sterile supplies and place orders as needed.
• Perform regular quality control checks to ensure sterilization effectiveness.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of sterilization equipment.
• Adhere to all infection control and safety guidelines.
• Work closely with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterilized instruments and supplies.
• Assist in training new staff members on CSSD procedures and protocols.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
