We are looking for a Credit Sales Manager to join our team in Kakinada to drive the sales of our credit products while ensuring risk management and customer satisfaction.
Role Overview :
The Credit Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and driving the sales of credit products to both new and existing customers. This role involves analyzing customer creditworthiness, overseeing the sales team, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure credit policies are followed while meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities :
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve credit sales targets for the region.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts and client engagement.
• Assess customer creditworthiness and ensure the approval process is aligned with company policies.
• Maintain relationships with key clients and provide excellent customer service to ensure high retention rates.
• Manage a team of sales representatives, guiding them on achieving sales goals, training them on credit products, and improving overall performance.
• Collaborate with the credit and risk management teams to streamline the credit approval process and mitigate any potential risks.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies.
• Prepare and present reports on sales performance, credit approvals, and team performance.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal policies related to credit sales.
• Provide regular feedback to management regarding customer feedback, market conditions, and sales strategies.
• Drive initiatives to increase awareness of the company's credit offerings in the assigned region.
Key Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales or credit management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of credit risk management, financial analysis, and lending processes.
• Proven experience in achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound decisions based on credit analysis.
• Knowledge of local market dynamics and customer needs in the credit space.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills :
• Experience in the finance, lending, or banking sector.
• Familiarity with financial products like loans, credit cards, and vehicle financing.
• Regional language proficiency (Telugu, Hindi) is a plus.
