Crusher Operator
Job Description
A crusher operator operates machinery that breaks solids down by pressing them. They work in a variety of settings, including asphalt plants, underground mines, and other construction sites:
• Asphalt plants Crush recycled asphalt to a consistent size for reuse in the asphalt production process. They also perform other tasks around the plant, such as transporting materials and processing orders.
