Job Description


Role- Crisis HeadGrade- VPPosition Overview: The Crisis Head will be instrumental in managing and resolving crises that impact the organization, particularly those related to security and fraud. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to handle emergencies, ensuring business continuity, and addressing fraud-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in security management and experience dealing with fraud investigations and First Information Reports (FIRs). Recovery.Key Responsibilities: * Crisis Management and Security Oversight:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the company's crisis management and security protocols.
  • Assess and address security risks, including physical security, cybersecurity threats, and internal fraud.
  • Lead the response to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement and other relevant agencies as needed.
  • Fraud Prevention and Response:
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to prevent and respond to fraud within the organization.
  • Oversee investigations into fraudulent activities, including gathering evidence, preparing reports, and coordinating with legal and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage the process of filing First Information Reports (FIRs) and other legal documentation related to fraud.
  • Crisis Response and Coordination:
  • Lead and coordinate the company's response to various crises, including security breaches, fraud incidents, and other significant emergencies.
  • Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders during a crisis, providing clear, timely updates and instructions.
  • Business Continuity Planning:
  • Develop and implement business continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption to operations during and after a crisis.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of business continuity strategies, and oversee related training and drills.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and address security vulnerabilities and fraud risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to implement and monitor risk mitigation strategies and controls.
  • Training and Awareness:
  • Develop and deliver training programs on security best practices, fraud prevention, and crisis management for employees at all levels.
  • Promote a culture of vigilance and preparedness throughout the organization.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all crisis management, security incidents, and fraud investigations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior leadership and the board of directors.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including security agencies, legal entities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the company in external forums related to security and fraud management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in crisis management, security management, and fraud investigation, preferably within the microfinance or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, fraud prevention, and the process of filing FIRs.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and manage complex investigations with discretion and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage high-pressure situations and make critical decisions.
  • Certification in security management or fraud prevention (e.g., CPP, CFE) is a plus.
