You should also enjoy being a business-oriented team colleague driving for realistic solutions.About theTeam :The APM Credit Portfolio Steering team reports directly to the Global Head Actuarial Portfolio Management Corporate Solutions. C&S provides credit risk-based insurance solutions to banks and corporates in the areas of Trade, Commodity and Project Finance, Surety, Political Risk Insurance and Trade Credit Insurance.The Credit Portfolio Steering team is responsible for

• Monitoring the evolution of risk and risk adjusted measures of the inforce Credit & Surety portfolio
• Coordinating the overall Credit & Surety portfolio steering and risk mitigation processes
• Ensuring the adherence to portfolio limits
• Contribute to forward looking tactical and strategical decisions through a coordinated process to determine the optimal target liability portfolio
• Providing high-quality portfolio assessments in support of the C&S unit\'s diverse credit-related underwriting activities
• Leading key C&S CorSo strategic development initiatives both in data analysis and portfolio steering

We are a global team with presence in Sao Paulo, Zurich and Bangalore and Singapore. We maintain direct contact to senior management throughout Swiss Re by acting as the link with Swiss Re Group Risk Management and Group Underwriting, Legal, Operations, Finance, Claims and Actuaries.About You :

• Previous experience (3-5 years) in credit portfolio management, risk reporting, risk management, especially in banking or insurance is preferred; actuarial and/or credit risk management experience a plus
• Good knowledge and understanding of credit aggregation, global macroeconomics, financial markets and credit-related products; experience in the Trade Finance and Surety sectors a plus
• Solid academic education (university degree or higher), ideally in financial economics, econometrics, financial engineering, or actuarial sciences. Engineers are welcome only with financial knowledge background.
• Well-developed IT skills - Microsoft Office and some programming language (python/ SQL or pyspark)
• Solid quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, pragmatism and firm judgment

• Convincing interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relations in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment
• Self-starter organized and able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to manage diverse projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Able to apply quantitative skills, business knowledge, logical thinking and communicate the key message by visualization & presentation
• Digital transformation project experience - would be a plus.

Fluency in English is a must.
