The roles and responsibility of a Credit Officer is furnished hereunder. CO shall directly report to Audit Manger. CO shall have functional relationship with Branch Manager. CO has to visit 100% all the clients in the morning and authenticate the CPV form filled by the Field Officer. CO has to authenticate the KYC documents collected and sign the KYC photocopies with OSV (Originally Seen and Verified) seal, in the morning. Should make weekly 3 Surprise Centre Visits (SCV) (Centre meeting meant for collecting monthly loan installments by FO) and gives report in the prescribed format. In the Afternoon CO collects the cash from the FOs with the second copy of due sheets, entries day book and deposit the cash in the bank together with the BM/FO. CO maintains Petty Cash. Accompanies the Branch Manager on Loan Disbursements. Takes photographs at the time of loan disbursement in two angles showing the presence of BM and CO stores them in separate folder in the computer and send them to the Head Office on the day of making disbursement, in the evening before leaving the office. Sent Collection / disbursement report to the Finance Department at the Head Office on daily basis before 04.30 PM. Prepares the details for High Mark Credit information, in the afternoon, and handover them to BM for extracting report. Making entries in the software for repayments. Custodian of Cheque leaves received from Head Office for loan disbursement / Petty cash replenishment or any other purpose. Sending petty cash account to Accounts Department on weekly basis.
