Main responsibilities

• Assessing creditworthiness of existing & new clients
• Examining financial transactions and credit history of all customers & setting up their credit limits
• Completing ratio, trend and cash flows analyses and creating cash flow projections for the month & quarter.
• Determine in depth the degree of risk involved for each customer.
• Carefully analyze data and produce clear and objective reports.
• Adhere to credit policy and guidelines.
• Monitor customer portfolio on an ongoing basis.
• Draft models of credit information that predict trends and patterns of payment behaviour.
• Monitor and review customer accounts receivable balances.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve customer accounts receivable balance discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers & other internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues and obtain necessary documents.
• Generate and reconcile customer accounts receivable reports.
• Conduct research to identify and resolve customer accounts receivable issues.
• Generate various reports on AR, collections, payment adherence etc from SAP and share the same with senior management.

Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience as a Credit/AR analyst
• Have worked in SAP applications previously.
• Up to date with legal, compliance and market risk related issues.
• Ability to analyze cash flows, leverage, collateral and customer strength.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of MS excel.
• Masters or Bachelors degree in Finance.
• Minimum experience 2 to 5 years of Credit Analyst experience
