Job Description

We are looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our book publishing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing captivating and visually appealing book covers that align with the themes and genres of our publications. You will collaborate with editors to ensure the cover designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design innovative book covers for a variety of genres, including fiction, non-fiction, educational, and children's books.
• Create mock-ups and finalize designs based on feedback.
• Stay updated with current trends in book design and publishing.
• Ensure all designs are print-ready and meet production specifications.
• Maintain consistency with the company's branding guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in book cover design or a publishing environment.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator, Canva, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and composition.
• Creativity and ability to translate abstract concepts into visually compelling designs.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of print production processes and file preparation is a plus.
• Ability to take constructive feedback and adapt designs accordingly.
• A portfolio showcasing previous book cover designs or related creative work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Experience in designing e-book covers is an advantage.
• Interest or familiarity with the publishing industry and current design trends.
