Job Description

We are looking for an Country Air Product Head that will handle the following :

• Building and managing Air Carrier relationships for all regions of India and also with the India HQ of carriers
• Lead the air freight commercial/pricing function dealing with air carriers & air sub agents for ZIMLog-India
• Create specialized air product solutions for ZIMLog-India focus vertical industries for all geographies of India \xe2\x80\x93 viz. Cold Chain, Project Cargo & OOG, Hazardous Cargo, import consolidations
• Lead the acquisition of IATA license for ZIMLog-India
• Be the P&L leader for the air product \xe2\x80\x93 be responsible for the achievement of targets for air freight for ZIMLog-India \xe2\x80\x93 volumes, GP, cost of operations, and productivity of staff
• Be the air freight operations leader for ZIMLog-India \xe2\x80\x93 both on the system (e2open) as well as physical handling of shipments
• Lead business execution for India
• Lead the creation of vendor relationships and management of those relationships
• Collaborate with sales for air freight business acquisition

• Experience of managing the air freight function of a global forwarder in India in all geographies of the country
• Sound relationships with all air carriers & air sub-agents leading to enhanced procurement of rates
• Exhaustive knowledge of end-to-end freight operations \xe2\x80\x93 both inbound & outbound in all geographies of India
• Exhaustive knowledge of ERP systems related to air freight forwarding
• `Conversant with all local regulations pertaining to air freight in India
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of consistent success with the air product
• Ability and acumen to drive the air product P&L for ZIMLog-India and achieve the set targets consistently.
• Experience of 15-20 years with reputed freight forwarding brands
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree. A post-graduation in Logistics/Supply Chain would be an added advantage.
