• Customer Service:
• Greet customers as they arrive at the sales counter.
• Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs.
• Provide detailed information about products, including specifications, prices, and availability.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Sales Transactions:
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
• Ensure proper documentation of sales and returns.
• Inventory Management:
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks.
• Restock shelves and displays as needed.
• Notify management of low stock levels or inventory discrepancies.
• Product Knowledge:
• Stay informed about new products and industry trends.
• Participate in product training sessions to enhance knowledge and sales techniques.
• Store Maintenance:
• Ensure the sales counter and surrounding areas are clean and organized.
• Assist with store merchandising and display setup.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Communicate effectively with management regarding customer feedback and sales trends.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.
