Responsibilities:
Location: RIti Eye Care Hospital
Note: Only Female candidates(Aviation industry prefered)
1. Emotional and Psychological Support:
- Provide counseling to patients dealing with vision loss, chronic eye conditions, or the emotional impact of eye surgery.
- Help patients manage anxiety, depression, or frustration related to their eye health and vision changes.
2. Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct psychological assessments to gauge the emotional and mental health needs of patients with eye conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans or coping strategies based on the patient's specific needs.
3. Education and Information:
- Educate patients and their families about eye conditions, treatment options, and the expected outcomes.
- Provide information about visual aids, adaptive technologies, and rehabilitation services to improve quality of life.
4. Support During Diagnosis and Treatment:
- Assist patients in understanding their diagnosis and the implications for their daily life and overall well-being.
- Support patients through the process of treatment, including pre-operative and post-operative counseling.
5. Crisis Intervention:
- Address immediate psychological crises, such as severe distress or panic related to eye health issues.
- Implement strategies to help patients cope with acute stress or grief associated with vision loss or eye surgery.
6. Family and Caregiver Support:
- Support and educate family members and caregivers about how to assist patients in managing their condition.
- Provide guidance on how to communicate effectively with patients experiencing vision loss.
7. Coordination of Care:
- Work closely with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Collaborate with the medical team to integrate psychological support into the overall treatment plan.
8. Rehabilitation and Adjustment:
- Assist patients in adjusting to life changes resulting from vision impairment or eye surgery.
- Facilitate access to rehabilitation services, such as orientation and mobility training, or visual rehabilitation programs.
9. Resource and Referral:
- Identify and refer patients to external resources such as support groups, vision rehabilitation centers, and community services.
- Provide information about financial assistance or insurance coverage for vision-related needs.
10. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of counseling sessions, assessments, and patient progress.
- Prepare necessary reports for medical records, insurance, or legal purposes as required.
11. Professional Development:
- Stay updated on advancements in ophthalmic care and mental health practices related to vision impairment.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills specific to eye health counseling.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
