Core Responsibilities
1. Workshop and Seminar Development
- Design, organize, and deliver mental health workshops and seminars tailored to diverse audiences (e.g., schools, corporates, communities).
- Create engaging and evidence-based presentations and training sessions to educate attendees on mental health topics like stress management, anxiety, and resilience.
- Identify target groups and customize workshop content to meet their unique mental health needs.
- Collaborate with industry experts, educators, and community leaders to enhance workshop quality.
2. Curriculum and Module Preparation
- Develop comprehensive, research-backed modules on mental health topics, ensuring they align with the latest industry standards and practices.
- Integrate multimedia tools and interactive techniques into modules to enhance learning and engagement.
- Regularly review and update modules based on feedback and new research.
- Design handouts, guides, and follow-up materials to support workshop attendees.
3. Mental Health Advocacy
- Promote mental health awareness through community outreach, public speaking, and participation in health fairs.
- Serve as a spokesperson for mental health initiatives, emphasizing the importance of stigma reduction and accessibility.
- Advocate for mental health policy changes at local and organizational levels.
Clinical and Support Roles
4. Assessment and Guidance
- Conduct preliminary mental health assessments during workshops and provide guidance on further intervention if needed.
- Refer individuals requiring specialized care to appropriate mental health services or practitioners.
5. Program Implementation and Monitoring
- Plan, execute, and monitor mental health programs, ensuring they meet objectives and reach the intended audience.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with schools, corporate HR teams, and community organizations to integrate mental health strategies into their systems.
- Partner with health professionals, NGOs, and government agencies for funding and resource allocation.
Administrative and Supervisory Responsibilities
7. Training and Supervision
- Train and mentor junior psychologists, interns, or volunteers involved in mental health programs.
- Provide guidance on best practices for delivering mental health services in workshops and seminars.
8. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of workshops, seminars, and participant feedback.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for stakeholders and management teams.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in all activities.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- A degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, or related field specializing in clinical psychology or counseling (preferred).
- Proven experience in organizing mental health workshops and seminars.
- Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Knowledge of module development and instructional design.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
