With this position we offer
Nasdaq's Legal, Regulatory & Risk group is looking for a guide Contract Negotiator to join our global legal team located in North America, Europe and Asia and supporting our businesses worldwide.
Your role and responsibilities:• Support the intake, review and negotiation of commercial contracts with our clients and suppliers across the global Nasdaq organization
• Join calls with internal collaborators to review drafts of contracts and join calls with clients or suppliers to help negotiate the terms
• Advance issues to more senior members of the legal team and to internal collaborators based on pre-defined criteria and as needed
• Balance multiple projects simultaneously on a time-sensitive basis to ensure deadlines are met in a multifacetedfast pacednding environment
• Support continuous improvement of contracting processes and templates
• Support training of sales team and other internal requestors
You will need the following• 3-10 years' work experience reviewing, redlining and negotiating commercial contracts
• Familiarity with contracts fundamentals under US or UK law
• Ability to recognize linguistic or grammatical nuances that could impact the meaning of contractual provisions
• Law degree not required but could be conducive, especially for candidates whose work experience is at the lower end of the range
It would be great if you• Experience with Salesforce and Conga CLM; experience with other technological tools that facilitate contract negotiations a plus
