Job Role - Costing, Estimation, and Tendering Leader (GEM Portal User)

•Our premium Engineering customer in the Railways & Automotive Sector is looking for the following Role with the mentioned job specs.•

Experience- 8+ years

Domain- Railway /Automotive Sector - Sheet metal fabrication

Location- SIPCOT, Irungattukottai.

Salary - As per the industry Norms

Gender - Male

Mandatory Skills:

-Exposure to IREPS, GEM Portal will be preferred

-Ability to extract BOM, Costing & estimation of sheet metal & fabricated works

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain cost models for sheet metal fabrication projects.

- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.

- Lead tender document preparation and submission.

- Conduct pre- and post-tender negotiations with clients and suppliers.

- Oversee costing and estimation activities to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and costing tools.

- Strong written and verbal communication.

- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team.
