• Closely working with the product development team to understand the nuances around the product design (strength, IP process, batch size, cycle time etc) to obtain the relevant BOM (Bill of Material) from them.
• Participate in key CFT (portfolio, Dev Team etc) meeting to help finalize the cost drivers.
• Reference to the inputs, to recommend the cost of the product.
• Computation of Overhead based Additional Capex requirements and Capacity Utilisation
• Closely work with the Plant based teams to better understand the unit operations for both API and Formulations so as to logically converge them in terms of cost impact

Variance Analysis of projected cost Vs actual cost

• Monthly preparation of variance report for both API & Formulation batches executed during the month

• Discussing with delivery team & SCM team to understand the reason for variances
• Monthly review of the variances with leadership team citing insights & action plan from same
• Working on follow up action plan from variance review

Cost Optimisation

• With the detailed understanding of the project/product build and the relevant cost drivers across multiple products - to ideate on possible cost optimization ideas in collaboration with the relevant CFT members.
• Supporting Markets by providing optimised COGS

Digital Initiatives

• Working closely on implementing dashboard for product costing including variance analysis

QualificationsCMA / MBA with 3 to 5 Years of Experience
