Job Description

1. •Formulation Development:•

- Create and develop formulations for a variety of cosmetic products (e.g., lotions, shampoos, conditioners, face creams).

- Adjust and refine formulations to achieve desired product characteristics like texture, fragrance, and efficacy.

- Innovate new product ideas based on market trends, consumer needs, and brand requirements.

2. •Ingredient Research:•

- Conduct research on raw materials and their effects on skin or hair.

- Stay updated on the latest trends in active ingredients, sustainable materials, and regulatory changes.

- Test alternative ingredients for safety, stability, and performance.

3. •Product Testing:•

- Perform laboratory tests to assess the stability, compatibility, and performance of cosmetic products.

- Ensure products meet safety regulations and are free from harmful effects when used by consumers.

- Run clinical or consumer trials to evaluate product efficacy and satisfaction.

4. •Regulatory Compliance:•

- Keep detailed records of formulation processes, raw materials, and testing results for regulatory submissions.

- Prepare safety data sheets and product information files.

6. •Problem Solving:•

- Troubleshoot issues related to product stability, ingredient interaction, or performance during formulation development.

- Modify formulas to improve product shelf life, cost-effectiveness, or aesthetic qualities.
