Nasdaq Technology is looking for a Corporate Paralegal as part of the Legal Operations team and reports to the Head of Legal Operations.

Legal Operations supports and assists the Legal Department on a wide range of matters. We are looking for a self-starter who wants to learn about and participate in all areas of Legal Operations, including contract management, contract drafting and negotiation, and corporate governance.

With this position we offer

Nasdaq's Legal, Regulatory & Risk group is looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our global legal team located in North America, Europe and Asia and supporting our businesses worldwide.
Your role and responsibilities:• Participate in management of the global contract docket (reporting), including coordinating and communicating with members of the Legal Department and with collaborators in Sales, Sales Ops, R&D, Customer Delivery and Finance.
• Coordinate contract approval and execution.
• Handle corporate governance matters for Nasdaq entities globally.
• Assist the Legal team with organization-wide policies and procedures.
• Assist with the negotiation of various agreements, including drafting, preparing, reviewing, editing, and amending NDAs, consulting agreements, vendor contracts, statements of work, internal agreements, and similar documents.
• Facilitate responses to client / prospect legal due diligence requests.
• Other duties as assigned.


Besides working closely with your colleagues in Mumbai, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
We expect you to have

• University degree required
• 2+ years of experience in a corporate law department or as a private law firm paralegal
• Experience with a Contract Lifecycle Management System - in particular Conga - a plus
• Well organized, detail oriented and teammate with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of working in a fast paced environment
• Pro-active and self-starting, comfortable working as part of a distributed global team
• Ability to work with internal clients across different seniority levels
• Effective personal, organisational and time management skills, and the ability to balance multiple demands
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating an ability to connect with colleagues at all levels
• Common sense, commerciality, and the ability to exercise good judgment
• Must have excellent digital literacy, including skills with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook


It would be phenomenal if you• Understanding of the legal and business aspects of licensing data, including supervised data, data, indexes, information, software and/or technology products and services
• Experience drafting and negotiating contracts for sophisticated commercial transactions
• The ability to analyze complex contracts and optimally reconnect with internal clients
• Knowledge of legal workflows and concepts
