Team Accertify provides a solution merchants trust and a career you can trust.Join us in our mission and build a career you can trust.Accertify is growing, and we are looking to add a Corporate Legal & India Human Resources Administrative Lead to our global fraud-fighting team.How will you make an impact in this role?The Corporate Legal & India Human Resources Administrative Lead will be essential in planning and managing executive and board-level meetings, implementing regulatory compliance measures, managing executive and shareholder communications, providing guidance on corporate governance and ethics, training board members, and maintaining updated company records and documents. Additionally, you will manage and oversee payroll processes, compensation structures, and employee benefits programs for the Accertify India Location. This role will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, improve payroll accuracy, and develop competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.Job responsibilities:

  • Managing and scheduling board and executive meetings, preparing meeting agendas, and meeting cadence
  • Assist senior leadership in implementing legal and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Maintain consistent communication between the management, board, and shareholders
  • Maintain company records and essential documents in electronic and hard copy storage as needed and be responsible for circulating important company documents for review, approval, signature, and submission to respective government authorities.
  • Facilitate training and development of the directors of the board.
  • Provide project management services for projects related to the board
  • Design and implement corporate governance framework and assist the board by making available all tools and data needed for corporate decision-making
  • Maintain and update corporate records, documents, and registers in the document management systems in accordance with the company's articles of incorporation, bylaws, and federal and state laws.
  • Safeguard essential company documents, such as the company's seal, and handle the issuance and transfer of company shares
  • Payroll Management:
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payroll disbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Manage payroll tax reporting and ensure accurate tax filings.
  • Collaborate with the Finance department to reconcile payroll accounts.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee payroll inquiries.
  • Compensation Management:
  • Develop and manage compensation strategies that align with company goals and market conditions.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Design, implement, and monitor incentive programs such as bonuses and commissions.
  • Ensure compliance with compensation regulations, including wage and hour laws.
  • Benefits Administration:
  • Design, implement, and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, life insurance, retirement plans (e.g., EPF, NPS), leave policies, and other perks.
  • Regularly review and benchmark benefits programs against industry standards to ensure competitiveness.
  • Develop and manage wellness programs aimed at improving employee health and well-being.
  • Compliance and Regulation:
  • Ensure that all benefits programs comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements (e.g., Employee Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Stay updated on changes in benefits regulations and ensure timely updates to company policies and programs.
  • Prepare and submit necessary filings and reports to government agencies as required.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement improvements to payroll and benefits processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain payroll and benefits policies and procedures.
  • Ensure payroll and benefits systems have the latest technology and best practices.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare regular payroll, compensation, and benefits reports for senior management.
  • Analyze payroll, compensation, and benefits data to identify trends and make recommendations.
  • Provide insights and reports to support strategic decision-making in HR and finance.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Over eight years of experience in managing processes for the board members in high-level administrative roles
  • Strong aptitude and experience in Project Management
  • Experience in scheduling and managing board meetings
  • Experience in communicating important company messages and documents to the board and executive team members
  • Ability to coordinate board and committee meetings, implement and maintain corporate-level governance processes
  • Experience in maintaining and storing essential company documents and tools like the company seal
  • Well-developed project management skills, including preparing project plans and key milestones and managing them
  • A learner and innovator who's never afraid to try something new or experiment and has a bias for action
  • Experience in document management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work well with multiple stakeholders
  • Expertise with software tools such as MS Project, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), and PDF software such as Acrobat and Google Docs.
  • Proficiency in payroll software, HRIS systems, and Excel. Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools and benefits administration platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to pay strong attention to details
  • Ability to manage communication with multiple stakeholders with competing deadlines.
  • Experience interacting with senior executives, outside Board members, and their administrative staff.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a personal solid ethical code, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Use the right technology to improve the efficiency, scalability, and consistency of documents and data.
  • Previous experience as a Paralegal is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and benefits compliance.
  • Experience in managing payroll and benefits for a large and diverse workforce.
  • Experience within the digital fraud prevention or data security industry would be preferred.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in payroll, compensation, and benefits management
Education:
  • A bachelors degree in business administration, communications, or other relevant majors is preferred.
  • Certification of successful completion of the Company Secretary Course, as conducted by The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICIS) is required
Additional Details:
  • This role is a hybrid role (3 days in office) located in Gurgaon at our Accertify office
