Job Title: Corporate Legal Consultant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Legal Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of corporate law, with a focus on employment contract drafting, addressing behavioral issues, managing legal undertakings, handling business transactions default cases, and overseeing notices and legal proceedings. The Corporate Legal Consultant will play a critical role in ensuring legal
compliance and providing strategic advice to support our organization's business
objectives.
Responsibilities:
Corporate Law Knowledge:
Stay updated on changes in corporate laws and regulations.
Provide expert guidance on legal matters affecting the organization.
Employment Contract Drafting:
Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts.
Ensure contracts comply with relevant laws and company policies.
Behavioral Issues:
Address and resolve behavioral issues in the workplace.
Advise on employee relations matters and compliance with relevant laws.
Legal Undertakings:
Oversee and manage legal undertakings on behalf of the company.
Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on various business activities.
Business Transactions Default Cases:
Handle default cases arising from business transactions.
Develop strategies to mitigate legal risks associated with defaults.
Notices and Legal Proceedings:
Draft and serve legal notices as required.
Represent the company in legal proceedings and collaborate with external legal counsel.
Qualifications:
Any graduate or post graduate of LLB, B. Com LLB, BA LLB, LLB (Hons.), LLM (Business Law), LLM (Labour law and administrative law), LLM (Criminal law and criminal justice administration), LLM (International law and organization), LLM (Constitutional law and human rights) or law specialization.
6 months to 2 years corporate law experience mandatory.
Proven experience as a Corporate Legal
Consultant or in a similar legal role.
In-depth knowledge of corporate laws, employment law, and contract law.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to legal issues.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in a corporate legal department or law firm
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations.
• Knowledge of alternative dispute resolution methods.
• Experience in handling subordinate courts at district, municipal and village levels.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?200,000.00 - ?400,000.00 per year
